DANIEL SEDDIQUI
I spent the night in Savannah, GA and couldn’t stop thinking about how it might be the nicest city in America. I mentioned how great the city was to people from South Carolina and without fail they ask if I’ve seen Charleston yet. I have not seen it yet, but now that I’m staying 20 miles from the city on Kiawah Island, I will.
When I arrived at Kiawah Island Resort, I couldn’t help but think of the contrasts that I’ve experience. One week I’m living in a trailer in the middle of Wyoming and another week I’m staying at one of the nicest golf resorts in the world. I am excited to work on the most difficult golf course in the country this week.
There are marshlands and so many different types of wildlife in South Carolina. I’ve already experience the wacky summer weather on my drive. I’m glad it was pouring during my drive because I needed a carwash from the time it rained bugs in Georgia.

Why did you choose this career to represent South Carolina?
Tourism is a large part of South Carolina's economy, mostly because of the coast. Golf resorts are popular in this part of the country, so I will be working right on the coast on one of the most prestigious resorts in the country as a Caddie.
Welcome to South Carolina
