It’s been almost 2 years since I’ve lived in Chicago. I am very excited to go back to Chicago and work for the train this week. I remember taking the train everyday whenever the weather was too bad to bike. The weather in Wisconsin is probably the worst I’ve experienced this trip. I’ve been driving in a whiteout which is something I’m not used to. I’d rather be riding on a train from Wisconsin to Illinois.

Why did you choose this career to represent Illinois?
Illinois has always been one of the nation's largest transportation hubs. If you've ever been to Chicago, it's impossible to avoid the transit system; you either see it, hear it, ride it, or maybe even smell it. The transit lines run throughout Chicagoland and is the most convenient form of transportation.
